Petr Bukacek is a Senior Associate at TARPAN Partners.
During his studies, Petr worked in the audit team of Deloitte, focused mainly on audits of financial institutions.
After graduation, he moved to Ernst & Young's Prague office where he was part of the transaction team and was focused on preparation of strategic business plans and financing transactions or investment opportunities across the CEE region.
Subsequently, he worked in the M&A and private equity team of investment boutique MiddleCap Group, where he worked on a range of transactions from multinationals to start-ups. He was also involved in the acquisition of a major Czech-Slovak retail group into the investment fund's portfolio and the development of the subsequent strategy for its management and further development.
Petr graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics in Prague. During his studies, he completed a work placement in Texas, USA and spent several months working in France and Spain. Also, Petr completed a course in M&A and restructuring at Imperial College Business School in London.
